The Petit Don is a river in France that runs in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises in the south-western municipality of Challain-la-Potherie , generally drains in a westerly direction and flows into the Don as a left tributary after about 20 kilometers in the municipality of Petit-Auverné . On its way, the Petit Don touches the Maine-et-Loire and Loire-Atlantique departments .
