The Petite Grosne is a river in France that runs through the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions. It rises in the southern municipality of Cenves , drains in an arc from northeast to east to southeast and flows into the Saône after 26 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Mâcon and Varennes-lès-Mâcon as a right tributary . At its mouth, the river has been developed into a harbor basin. On his way he crosses the Rhône and Saône-et-Loire departments .

Warning: not to be confused with the Grosne river , which also flows into the Saône!
