Petra Meyer (born March 12, 1964 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Petra Meyer, who worked full-time as a mail carrier and played for SSV Vingst 05 until 1985 , was a midfielder of SSG 09 Bergisch Gladbach , with whom she reached the final of the German championship four times . Their premiere on June 28, 1986 in the home stadium An der Paffrather Strasse was suddenly clouded with the 5-0 defeat against FSV Frankfurt . But on June 26, 1988, she and her team won the penalty shoot-out title at their home stadium on Paffrather Strasse ; in the end it was 5: 4 against KBC Duisburg . She defended this with her team on July 8, 1989 in Montabaur , when TuS Ahrbach could be defeated 2-0.
