The rectory in Epfach , a district of the community of Denklingen in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech , was built by Steingaden Monastery around 1750 . The rectory on Dominikus-Zimmermann-Strasse 3/4, near the Catholic parish church of St. Bartholomew , is a protected monument .

description

The two-storey hipped roof building on a square floor plan is structured by six window axes on each side. The painted window frames and corner blocks, like the flanking round windows at the house entrance, come from the renovation between 1984 and 1986.

The representative staircase has a double flight of stairs with a turning platform and a baluster area . The staircase and upper floor are characterized by high quality stucco work. The prelate's room on the upper floor is dominated by the coat of arms of Abbot Hyacinth Gassner (1729–1745).

To the west of the rectory, the washing and baking house , a small, steep, gable roof building from the 18th century, has been preserved.
