The parsonage of the cathedral parish is located in Bremen , Mitte district , Domsheide 2. It was built in 1845 according to plans by master mason Johann Hinrich Schröder. It has been a listed building in Bremen since 1973 .

history

The cathedral island between Domshof , Sandstrasse, Violenstrasse, Domsheide and Dom came to Bremen in accordance with the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss of 1803. In the first half of the 19th century, the first classical rectories were built.

The two-storey, five-axis, plastered rectory of the St. Petri-Domgemeinde with a hipped roof , the strong cantilevered cornice and the central entrance was built in 1845 in the era of classicism . It is directly connected to a three-storey, classical house from 1848, Domsheide 3. In 1912, garden architect Friedrich Gildemeister designed the outdoor area that was not preserved in this way. In the building there were the offices and a teaching room on the ground floor and two apartments on the upper floor. a. the cathedral preacher Otto Hartwich and Hermann Rahm lived there.

Today (2018) the family and life counseling of the Bremen Evangelical Church (BEK) and Cora, the counseling center for pregnancy and prenatal diagnosis, are located in the house .
