The Roman Catholic parish church of Treubach is located in Treubach in the municipality of Treubach in the Braunau am Inn district in Upper Austria . The church, consecrated to the birth of Mary , belongs to the dean's office in Aspach in the diocese of Linz . The church and the cemetery are under monument protection .

history

A church was mentioned in a document around 800. The Gothic church building was converted to baroque style .

architecture

The single - nave three-bay nave with half-retracted buttresses is followed by a retracted two-bay choir with a three-eighth end. The Gothic ribs were removed and the vaults covered with lattice and band work by Johann Michael Vierthaler (1729). The frescoes were painted over by the painter Johann Georg Reischl in the early 20th century. The tower in the southern choir corner has an eight-sided bell house from 1729 and has an onion helmet .

Furnishing

The high altar was composed of older parts. The side altars and the pulpit were made around 1729. The side altar paintings of St. Michael and St. Sebastian painted Johann Maisthuber.

There is a bell from 1525.
