Philip Tägert
Philip Tägert (born September 1, 1966 in the Berlin district of Tegel ; artist name Fil, formerly also the shy Phil , Fil the Shrill or the schaue FIL ) is a German comic artist and entertainer .
Life
Fil lives and works in Berlin, he grew up in the Märkisches Viertel . At fourteen he published his first comics and drawings in the Berlin city magazine zitty . After a discontinued training as a painter , Fil concentrated mainly on his work as a draftsman. However, he is at least as successful as a stage humorist. Fil strips appear regularly in zitty and jungle world .
The best known are Fils Comics about the two sub-proletarians Dieter Kolenda and Andreas Stullkowski from the Märkisches Viertel, which appeared in authentic Berlin dialect under the title Didi & Stulle every two weeks from 1997 to 2015 as a one-page magazine in zitty .
Since the mid-1990s, Fil has also appeared as a stage humorist .
Trivia
- Like Tom, Fil worked for a while at the till at the Berlin comic book store “Grober Unfug”.
- In particular, Fil's early works, measured against their time, did not always and everyone as satire and instead became the subject of outraged criticism. At the time, the minds of a section of the Zitty readers who suspected that they were deliberately discriminating against the one-pager Frau Henkel and Frau Schmuhl heated up .
- Fil's idea of publishing one of his Didi-und-Stulle notebooks in an additional, so-called economy version, which parodies their own work with simplified drawings and modified jokes , was so popular with the band Die Ärzte that they also used this strategy for the album Jazz is applied differently . A version of the album, greatly simplified in terms of artwork and production, was sold at concerts and contains the note on the cover: "The 'Economy' principle is stolen from Fil".
- Farin Urlaub is a big fan of Didi & Stulle, as you can see in the FAQ on his homepage. Fil also designed “Krümel”, a little doll that Farin Urlaub used for a video series called “Samples for Happiness” on his homepage, as can be seen from the credits of one of the videos. Due to the great popularity with the fans, a small dogma film with the title “Krümels Incredible Adventure” was produced along with its own soundtrack; this was also available for free download on the site.
- Fil appeared again in the summer of 2007 at the Munich comic festival and took part in the competition for the independent comic prize with Didi & Stulle .
- Fil's sister Julia Tägert also draws comics, partly in collaboration with Andreas Michalke .
