Philipp Johann Berdellé

Philipp Johann Berdellé (born February 14, 1838 in Mainz ; † July 10, 1903 there ) was a German architect who designed a number of public buildings in Darmstadt and Mainz. He was a typical representative of the architecture of historicism .

Career

Philipp Johann Berdellé was employed by the Mainz Railway Directorate and retired at the end of 1900. He died on July 10, 1903 and is buried in the main cemetery in Mainz .

In addition, residential buildings designed by him have been preserved in the old town of Mainz . These include Fischtorplatz 23 and Lauterenstrasse 48.
