Philippe Gardent (born March 15, 1964 in Belleville ) is a French handball coach and former handball player .

Player career

The 1.84 m tall Philippe Gardent played on the position of the circuit . In his youth he worked for Stade français in Paris . In 1982 he moved to the Paris Université Club . In 1985, the then top club USM Gagny signed him, with whom he became French champions in 1986 and 1987 and won the cup in 1987. After five years he went to USAM Nîmes , with whom he won another championship in 1991.
