Philippe Méthion (born September 13, 1964 ) is a former French triathlete and multiple national triathlon champion.

Career

In 1987, Philippe Méthion was runner-up in the triathlon short distance in Marseilles. In Finland he finished third at the European Championships in the middle distance in 1992.

In 1995 he was fourth in the Triathlon International de Nice at the World Long Distance Championship.

Philippe Méthion was French triathlon champion eleven times between 1987 and 1996: he won the title eight times in the sprint and short distance and three more times in the medium and long distance.

In 1996 the then 43-year-old declared his active time over.
