Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (born April 25, 1963 in Rome , Italy ) is a French actress who has worked in films since 1983, but also in television and theater.

Life

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu is the daughter of the French comedian Philippe Leroy . At the age of sixteen, against her parents' advice, she went to Paris to study theater. After small theater roles she had her breakthrough in the film Surprise Party by Roger Vadim in 1983. In 1985 she was nominated for the César as best young actress for her role as Sylvia in the film Three Men and a Baby by Coline Serreau .
