Hurghada International 2011

The Hurghada International 2011 took place from May 12th to 19th, 2011 in Hurghada , Egypt . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2010/11 and was the only tournament this season in the International 70 category . The women's tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2010/11 and belonged to the WSA Silver 20 category .

The top seeded Ramy Ashour defeated Karim Darwish 11: 9, 9:11, 12:14, 11: 9 and 11: 3 in the men's final , while Raneem El Weleily won the tournament in the women's competition . In the final she defeated Omneya Abdel Kawy with 11: 5, 12:10 and 11: 9. Ashour secured his 20th title win on the World Tour with his success, for El Weleily it was the second professional title.

The fields of participants in the men's and women's competition consisted of 16 players each, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The four best players were seeded for the men, the eight best players for the women. Per Wildcard received Mohamed Abouelghar a spot in the main draw for the men.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 77,500 for the men and $ 20,000 for the women.
