The Springfield Solutions British Grand Prix 2012 took place September 21-24, 2012 in Manchester , United Kingdom . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2012/13 and belonged to the International 70 category .

The defending champion was Ramy Ashour . Nick Matthew defeated James Willstrop in the final 4:11, 11: 6, 11: 9 and 11: 5.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The four best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Jens Schoor a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round.
