AJ Bell British Squash Grand Prix 2016

The AJ Bell British Squash Grand Prix 2016 took place in Manchester , United Kingdom from December 2-5, 2016 . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2016/17 and belonged to the PSA 70 rating category .

Last year's winner was Mohamed Elshorbagy , who did not run again.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Joel Makin a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 70,000.
