Philippos Stephanos Thottathil
Philippos Stephanos Thottathil (born May 9, 1952 in Ranni , Pathanamthitta District , Kerala , India ) is an Indian clergyman and Syro-Malankara Catholic bishop of the United States and Canada .
Life
Philippos Stephanos Thottathil received on 27 April in 1979 by the bishop of the Eparchy of Tiruvalla , Isaac Youhanon Koottaplakil , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On January 25, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Sozopolis in Haemimonto and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in the archeparchy Tiruvalla . The Syro-Malankara Catholic Grand Archbishop of Trivandrum , Isaac Cleemis Thottunkal , donated him episcopal ordination on March 13 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of the Archeparchy of Tiruvalla, Thomas Koorilos Chakkalapadickal , and the Bishop of the Eparchy Pathanamthitta , Yoohanon Chrysostom Kalloor .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of the Eparchy of St. Mary Queen of Peace of the United States and Canada on August 5, 2017 .
