Pia Oberacker-Pilick
Pia Oberacker-Pilick (also under the name Pia Biundo ; born 1959 in Karlsruhe ) is a German writer, translator and antiquarian.
Life
Pia Biundo studied German, history and Spanish studies at the University of Heidelberg . She married Eckhart Pilick . She appears as a singer in the groups Fok o'locos and Cherrys Band , sometimes in a duo with her brother, the songwriter Max Biundo . She works as a literary translator from Spanish and in 2012 published the science fiction novel Alle Zeit der Welt . The novel, which has been nominated for several awards, is about the encounter of humanity with an alien civilization that had to flee from its dying sun.
Oberacker-Pilick is the owner of the Pia Oberacker-Pilick mail order shop in Karlsruhe , where she also lives.
She was a founding member and from 1992 to 2004 she worked for the Karlsruhe district magazine Intelligence- und Provinzblatt for Durlach . She is also the chairwoman of the Free Religious Community in Karlsruhe.
