Pierre Louis Marie Galibert TOR (born December 31, 1877 in Lasfaillades , France , † December 24, 1965 ) was Bishop of São Luíz de Cáceres .

Life

Pierre Louis Marie Galibert joined the Order of the Regular Franciscan Tercaries and made profession on October 4, 1894 . He received on 24 June 1902, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 15, 1915, Pope Benedict XV appointed him . to the Bishop of São Luíz de Cáceres. The Archbishop of Cuiabá , Carlos Luiz d'Amour , donated him episcopal ordination on August 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Corumbá , Cyrillo de Paula Freitas , and the Auxiliary Bishop of Cuiabá, Francisco de Aquino Correia SDB . The inauguration took place on September 8, 1915.

Pope Pius XII accepted on April 27, 1954 the resignation put forward by Pierre Louis Marie Galibert and appointed him titular bishop of Plataea .
