The Pik Tandykul (or Taldy Kul , Russian Пик Тандыкуль ) is a mountain in Alay Mountains in Central Asia .
The glaciated mountain is located on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan . With a height of 5544 m, it is the highest mountain in the Alai Mountains. The dominant reference point is the Pik Skalisty, 36 km northwest, 5621 m high . On its western flank in the Kyrgyz region of Batken stretches the Artscha-Baschi glacier , whose outflow flows into the Soʻx, which flows northwards . The eastern flank lies on the territory of the Tajik province of Nohijahoi tobei dschumhurij . On the northeast flank, the Tandykul glacier flows in an east-southeast direction. Together with a smaller glacier on the southeast flank of Pik Tandykul, it feeds a right tributary of the Surchob (right source river of the Wachsch ).
