Pimentel is a city in the province of Chiclayo in the Lambayeque region of northwestern Peru . Pimentel is the administrative seat of the district of the same name . The city had 23,335 inhabitants at the 2017 census, 10 years earlier 22,886.
Geographical location
The city, located at an altitude of 9 m , is located on the Pacific coast . The city center of the regional capital Chiclayo is located 13 km northeast of Pimentel. The coast of Pimentel is lined with beaches.
