Scientist and researcher Gepetto is developing a highly intelligent robot boy named Pinocchio who can both think and has been endowed with imagination and feeling. Mayor Scamboli sees him as an opportunity to turn all the children in his city into robots . But Pinocchio quickly recognizes Scambolli's evil intentions and stands in his way with all his might.
Production and publication
The film was based on a script by Claude Scasso and directed by Daniel Robichaud . The production was done by the companies Anima Kids, CinéGroupe and Filmax , the responsible producer was Louis Duquet . The artistic directors were Nicolas Lebessis and François-Emmanuel Porché and Claudette Duff was responsible for the editing . The music was composed by James Gelfand .
The film premiered on July 9, 2004 in Spain. This was followed by publications in Russia, Great Britain, France, Thailand, the USA, Canada, Italy and Japan, among others. The German version was first shown on April 1, 2006 on Disney Channel , a year later on Ki.Ka on free TV. In February 2008, Polyband & Toppic Video released a DVD release.
Voice actor
