Piotr Jarecki (born June 29, 1955 in Sierpc ) is a Polish clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Warsaw .

Life

Piotr Jarecki studied Catholic theology and philosophy at the seminaries of Płock and Warsaw . He received on 1 June in 1980 by the Archbishop of Warsaw, Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Jarecki was a vicar in the parish of Our Lady in Skolimów for two years . He continued his studies at the Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Warsaw and at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome . Piotr Jarecki holds a degree in Christian social teaching . Then Jarecki became a professor of Christian social teaching at the Pontifical Theological Faculty in Warsaw.

On April 16, 1994 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Avissa and auxiliary bishop in Warsaw.
