Pius Mlungisi Dlungwana (born October 13, 1947 in Impendle , South Africa ) is a South African clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Mariannhill .

Life

Pius Mlungisi Dlungwana received on 5 July 1976, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 2 June 2000 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Altinum and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Mariannhill. The Bishop of Mariannhill, Paul Themba Mngoma , ordained him episcopal on August 6 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Durban , Wilfrid Fox Napier OFM , and the Bishop of Eshowe , Mansuet Dela Biyase OMI . On June 3, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Mariannhill.
