Pluski [ ˈpluski ] ( German Plautzig ) is a village in the municipality of Stawiguda (Stabigotten) in the powiat Olsztyński in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
The village is located in the former East Prussia , ten kilometers east of Olsztynek (Hohenstein), 20 kilometers south of Olsztyn (Allenstein) on Jezioro Pluszne (Plautziger See), surrounded by forest. Parts of the surrounding area were hunting grounds for politicians and state guests during the People's Republic of Poland and therefore not freely accessible.
The Plautziger See has good water quality, motor boats are prohibited.
This place is especially popular with tourists from the Polish capital Warsaw . Mainly in summer, however, you will meet tourists from all over the world, especially many from Germany. Many well-known personalities in Poland own their holiday homes in Pluski. Hieronim Skurpski, Polish artist, dedicated an illustrated book to the village. The swimming pool (Aquapark) of the Hotel Warmia Park has been open since summer 2007.
A new holiday home area of 14 luxury houses was built between 2007 and 2010.

Based on the provisions of the Versailles Treaty , the population in the Allenstein voting area , to which Plautzig belonged, voted on July 11, 1920 on whether it would continue to belong to East Prussia (and thus to Germany) or join Poland. In Plautzig, 200 residents voted to remain with East Prussia, while Poland had 120 votes.
