Pleshina ( Albanian  also  Pleshinë , Serbian Плешина Plešina ) is a village in the Kosovar municipality of Ferizaj .

geography

The village is about five kilometers southwest of the city center of Ferizaj. Pleshina is south of Nerodima e Epërme and Nerodima e Poshtme . Nearby are the Rekathat and Nerodimka rivers . The next municipality of Štrpce is about 26 kilometers to the south. After Brezovica is approximately 30 kilometers.

The 2011 census in the Republic of Kosovo found that the village of Pleshina was home to 4,506 people. Of these, 3,389 described themselves as Albanians , four as Serbs , one as Bosniaks , four as Roma , 1090 as Ashkali , 17 residents gave no information and nothing can be found about one person.

In 2011, 4499 of the 4506 inhabitants professed Islam , four professed the Orthodox Church and two people gave no answer regarding their beliefs.
