Babush i Serbëve ( Albanian  also  Babushi i Serbëve , Serbian Српски Бабуш Srpski Babuš ) is a village in southern Kosovo, which is located in the municipality of Ferizaj .

geography

The village is 4.1 kilometers from Babush i Muhaxherëve and borders the municipality of Lipjan and the Pristina district . It is eleven kilometers to the southwestern town of Ferizaj . Babush i Serbëve is located between the M-2 and Autostrada R 6 . To the east of the village is the Bablak train station of the Kosovar railway company . To the east of the place runs a river that derives from the Sitnica .

Surname

The Albanian, as well as the Serbian, name is in German Babush der Serben . Until 1999 the place was also known as Babushan .

The 2011 census recorded 235 inhabitants for Babush i Serbëve. Of these, 234 identified themselves as Albanians (99.57%) and one as Serb .
