The hamlet of Plinz is part of the municipality of Milda in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia .

geography

Plinz is just before the end of the elongated valley of the Koppelgraben , which flows into the Saale . The hamlet can be reached via the federal highway 88 with a branch towards Altendorf - Altenberga and from Jena via Milda.

history

Plinz is a hamlet in the valley that was first mentioned on January 14, 1427. Its residents once operated agriculture and forestry. The humorous "Garden of Silence" is particularly original.
