Village panorama of Kleinkröbitz

The trout stream, a 10 km long left tributary of the Saale, rises between the village of Kleinkröbitz and Großkröbitz on the edge of a high plateau at about 450 m above sea level . This plateau is located on the Saale-Ilm limestone slab above the valley of the hamlet of Plinz . The floors of the corridor are shallow, stony and remote from the groundwater. To the south and west, the slopes and hills are forested.

history
