Church of the Assumption

Pluvault is a village and a former French community with 547 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Côte-d'Or in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Dijon and the Canton of Genlis .

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Longeault and Pluvault were merged to form Commune nouvelle Longeault-Pluvault and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Longeault.

geography

The village is located around 20 kilometers southeast of Dijon . Neighboring towns are Longeault in the north, Collonges-lès-Premières in the north-east, Pluvet in the south-east and south, Tart-le-Bas in the west and Genlis in the north-west. The municipality is crossed by the river Tille and its tributaries Norges and Crône .
