The canton of Genlis is a French constituency in the Arrondissement of Dijon , in the Département Côte-d'Or and in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté ; its main town is Genlis .
The canton of Genlis is 220.98 km² and has 20,131 inhabitants ( as of 1999 ). The canton has an average height of 204 meters, between 186 meters in Bessey-lès-Cîteaux and 241 meters in Longchamp .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Genlis comprised 25 communes plus the two communes Bretenière and Magny-sur-Tille . Its layout corresponded to an area of 220.98 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 2114.
