Poiplie
The Poiplie region (Slovak Ipeľský región (cestovného ruchu) ; German about "Eipel region") is a tourist region in Slovakia .
It extends following the course of the Ipeľ river over the districts:
The region Poiplie also includes the eastern part of the district Levice to Šahy with communities Bielovce , Demandice , Dolné Semerovce , Domadice , Hokovce , Horné Semerovce , Horné Turovce , Ipeľské Úľany , Ipeľský Sokolec , Kubáňovo , Lontov , Pastovce , Plášťovce , Santovka , Sazdice , Slatina , Šahy, Tupá , Veľké Turovce and Vyškovce nad Ipľom .
It extends roughly over the area of the historical regions of Hont and Novohrad .
