Coat of arms of those of Poser

Poser is the name of an old Silesian noble family consisting of the three houses Poser and Pangau , Poser and Rohrau as well as Poser and Groß-Naedlitz .

origin

The family originally comes from the Saxon-Thuringian area and came to Silesia as part of the colonization .

The family goes back to Themo de Poserne ( Posar ) , a knight under Duke Heinrich V of Silesia , who is mentioned in a document between 1275 and 1296. The secure line of tribe begins in 1361 with Johannes von Poser on Eisdorf in the Duchy of Namslau . The Pangau house was built under Themo's descendants in 1440 and the Rohrau and Groß-Naedlitz houses in 1536 , all in the Principality of Breslau . Today only the house of Poser and Groß-Naedlitz exists (place: Groß-Nädlitz, district of Breslau; Polish: Nadolice Wielkie).

coat of arms

The coat of arms shows in blue a black crow standing on a silver millstone, ready to fly, on the helmet with blue-silver covers a crow as if in a shield.
