Post is the county capital and seat of the county seat of Garza County in the US state of Texas in the United States .

The city is located in northwest Texas on the Santa Fe Railroad , at the intersection of US Highways 84 and 380 in the center of the county, is about 160 km to the west from New Mexico and has a total area of ​​9.8 km², of which 0, 1 km² of water are.
