Power of the Dollar (dt. Power of the dollar ) is the first studio album of American rapper 50 Cent . It was originally scheduled to be released on July 4, 2000 through Columbia Records , but was never released due to a shootout that 50 Cent was involved in in 2000. The rapper was also fired from the label as a result of the incident.

Eight songs on the album were produced by the music producer Trackmasters . Randy Allen, Al West, Terence Dudley, Red Spyda, Rashad Smith, Joshua Michael Schwartz, Brian Koerulf, Sha Self, DJ Scratch, Gowdy, Teflon and LES were also involved in the production of Power of the Dollar .

Guest Posts

In addition to 50 Cent, six other artists are represented on the album. The rapper Bun B has a guest appearance in the song As the World Turns , while Noreaga can be heard on Money by Any Means . The R & B singer Dave Hollister supports 50 Cent on the song Material Girl and the group Destiny's Child sings Thug Love . In addition, Black Child ( Gun Runner ) and The Madd Rapper ( How to Rob ) each have a guest post.
