Prattville is a city in Autauga County and Elmore County in the US state of Alabama , USA and the seat of the county government .
The city was founded in 1839 by Daniel Pratt , "Alabama's first industrialist", and had 33,960 inhabitants at the time of the United States Census 2010 on an area of 87.9 km².
There are eight schools in total, including Prattville High School and the Autauga County Technology Center.
