The T 6 of the Prussian State Railways were passenger train tender locomotives . They were intended as an alternative to the Prussian T 11 and T 12 on the routes of the Berlin city, ring and suburban railways. A total of twelve Schwartzkopff units were built in 1902 . Two came to the Altona head office, the other ten to Berlin. The engine with an internal third cylinder was unusual. Compared with the T 11 and T 12, it was the least economical. Other technical problems were also the decisive factors in the fact that the T 6 was no longer built.
The locomotives were transferred to other railway directorates later, five went to the First World War by Poland to the state railway and were classified there as OKl1. The locomotives that remained in Germany were taken out of service by the early twenties.
