The province of Barletta-Andria-Trani (Italian Provincia di Barletta-Andria-Trani ) is an Italian province in the Apulia region with 388,390 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). Barletta-Andria-Trani is one of the youngest provinces in Italy, has only existed since 2004 and is newly formed from ten municipalities that formerly belonged to the provinces of Bari and Foggia .
Together with Monza and Fermo, it is one of the three youngest provinces in Italy. The provincial capitals are united: Barletta, Andria and Trani. The first elections to the provincial assembly took place on June 6th and 7th, 2009.
