The Prva Liga RS 2001/02 was the seventh season of the Republika Srpska as the top division of Bosnia-Herzegovina in men's football . It started on August 18, 2001 and ended on May 29, 2002.

The champion was FK Leotar Trebinje .

The 16 teams played against each other twice on a total of 30 match days, divided into a first and a second round. The league was not recognized by UEFA and the teams were therefore unable to qualify for the European Cup.

It was the last edition of the separately highest championship in the Republic of Serbia. The best six clubs joined the Premijer Liga, founded in 2000 . The ten other teams played in the following season in the Prva Liga RS 2002/03 , which then acted as the second highest league.
