The Prva Liga RS 2012/13 was the 18th season of the Republika Srpska and the eleventh as only the second highest division of Bosnia-Herzegovina in men's football . It started on August 11, 2012 and ended on June 1, 2013.

Champion was promoted FK Mladost Velika Obarska .

On July 17, 2012, FK Crvena Zemlja, fifth in the previous year, announced that it would not participate due to financial difficulties. As a replacement, FK Ljubić Prnjavor, fourth in the Druga Liga West, took part. FK Mladost Velika Obarska and FK Borac Šamac were promoted. From the Premijer Liga came as relegated FK Kozara Gradiška.

The 14 teams played against each other twice on a total of 26 match days, divided into a first and a second round. The champion rose to the Premijer Liga 2013/14 . The bottom of the table rose directly to the third-rate Druga League , the penultimate played in the relegation against relegation.
