The gmina wiejska Przasnysz is an independent rural municipality in Poland in the powiat Przasnyski in the Masovian Voivodeship . Its seat is in the city of Przasnysz . The rural community, to which the city of Przasnysz itself does not belong, has an area of 183.9 km², on which (as of June 30, 2019) 7225 people live.
geography
The area of the rural commune almost completely surrounds the city of Przasnysz on all sides. It is located about 100 km north of Warsaw on the Węgierka .
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the Ostrołęka Voivodeship .
