Vivek Rajkumar (born June 1, 1986 in India ) is a professional Indian poker player . He is nicknamed Flog .

Personal

Rajkumar grew up mostly in Singapore and came to the United States with his family at the age of twelve . He enrolled at the University of Washington at the age of 15 and graduated in mathematics and computer science before his 19th birthday . He then worked as a software developer at Microsoft . Rajkumar lives in Las Vegas .

Poker career

Rajkumar played to September 2010 online under the nickname Psyduck101 ( PokerStars ) , DwightSchrute ( Party Poker ) and Psyduck ( Full Tilt Poker ) with earnings from online tournaments of over 500,000 US dollars . Since 2006 he has been taking part in renowned live tournaments.

Rajkumar's first success was 30th place at the Main Event of the World Poker Tour (WPT) in late October 2006 in Niagara Falls , Canada , for which he received around $ 30,000 in prize money. In June 2007 , he played for the first time in the World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and made five money. In mid-September 2008, Rajkumar won the WPT Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City with a prize of almost $ 1.5 million. In February 2009, he won a heads-up event in Los Angeles that brought him $ 350,000. In early October 2009, Rajkumar placed in the money for the first time at the main event of the European Poker Tour and finished ninth in London for prize money of 38,000 British pounds . In the spring of 2011, he reached the final table of the WPT Main Event twice within two weeks, finishing second at the LA Poker Classic for more than $ 900,000 and fourth at the Bay 101 Shooting Stars in San José for just under $ 300,000. Since May 2011 he has been seen less often at renowned poker tournaments. In 2012 , 2013 and 2015 he placed in the money at the WSOP main event . At the beginning of August 2019, Rajkumar reached the final table as the chip leader at the Triton Million for Charity in London, the most expensive poker tournament in the world to date with a buy-in of one million pounds, and for his fifth place received his highest prize money to date of more than 3.6 million Dollar.

Overall, Rajkumar has earned more than eight million dollars playing poker in live tournaments, making him the most successful Indian poker player .
