The Pulvermoos nature reserve is located in the municipality of Oberammergau in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district in Upper Bavaria . It is part of the FFH area “Moore im upper Ammertal” (8332-371).
The 128.7 hectare area with the number NSG-00149.01, which was placed under nature protection in 1982 , extends northwest of the core town of Oberammergau. The B 23 runs along the western edge of the area and the Ammer flows on the eastern edge .
