Kochelfilz near Unterammergau

The Kochelfilz nature reserve near Unterammergau is located in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district in Upper Bavaria . It is part of the FFH area “Moore im upper Ammertal” (8332-371).
The 89.8 hectare area with the number NSG-00312.01, which was placed under nature protection in 1987 , extends between the core town of Altenau in the north and the core town of Unterammergau in the south, directly on the Ammer flowing on the western edge . The B 23 runs east of the area .
