PUR + (2006–2017: pur + ) is the discovery magazine in the children's and youth program ZDFtivi ( ZDF ). Each episode deals with one topic. Reports, explanations, experiments and comedy illuminate the topic from different perspectives. The program focuses on the experiences and assessments of children.
The moderator of PUR + is Eric Mayer (known as the stuntman of knowledge ). It's through the kids' news show logo! became known where he acted as a reporter. Eric Mayer is a reporter for PUR + . The distinguishing feature of PUR + was initially an orange television, orange as the ZDF's color code. In the “Last” section at the end of the program, the Babsie doll ( modeled after Barbie ) and the Teddy Gilbärt present various skits about, among other things, Darth Vader's private life or Bob the Klaumeister . Until 2015, the stuffed animal Pferdinand was also involved.
Pure
From March 17, 1994 to September 2, 2006 there was the program PuR , the predecessor of PUR + . This played weekly in a kind of spaceship , the PuR Flugmobil, with which the main characters, the presenter Jo Hiller and the cartoon characters Petty and Teddy, could fly around the globe, dive underwater and even move around the Internet. The cartoon character Petty had her own show in the show, the "Petty PuR Show" (a forerunner of "The Last", which, however, had a greater independence). Enie van de Meiklokjes gave creative tips from 2004 to 2006. From 1996 to 1997 Antje Pieper presented the magazine “PuR Sport” every two weeks.
Awards
2008 received PUR + for the episode "All garbage, or what?" (September 22, 2007) at the 19th International Film Festival CIAK Junior in Treviso international CIAK-Television Award in the category "Audiovisual Program for Children's Education" and the Golden Sparrow of Children's jury for the episode “ Plunge into the Depth ”. For the episode "Help, I am a prejudice", the program was awarded the Robert Geisendörfer Prize 2014 in the category "Children's TV" on Friday, September 26, 2014 in Munich .
