Puri (also Púri ) is a city and a district in Angola .

Puri is the seat of a district of the same name ( Município ) in the province of Uíge . The district covers an area of 1232 km² with around 50,000 inhabitants (2008 estimate). From now on, the 2014 census should provide reliable population data.
The district of Puri consists of only one municipality of the same name (Comuna).
