The Purrmühlenbach is a right-hand tributary of the Delme . It flows exclusively in the southern area of the Harpstedt municipality in the Lower Saxony district of Oldenburg .

The 5 km long Purrmühlenbach rises on the southern Samtgemeinde limit of Harpstedt, flows north through Holzhausen, then west and parallel to the country road L 776. 500 meters to the east lies the 59.8 hectares large nature reserve Brammer , under since 2004 Nature Protection stands.
South of the center of Harpstedt the Purrmühlenbach flows into the Delme, which continues to flow in a northerly direction.
