Pyriofenone is a white solid that is practically insoluble in water.
use
Pyriofenone is used as a fungicide . The compound was discovered and developed by ISK Biosciences . It should be used in grain, wine and other arable and vegetable crops and is particularly effective against powdery mildew (e.g. Erysiphe , Leveillula , Podosphaera , Sphaeroteca, etc.).
Admission
It received preliminary approval in January 2010 and is structurally very similar to the compound metrafenone . The connection has been approved in the EU since February 1, 2014.
No pesticide products containing this active ingredient are approved in Switzerland, but in Germany and Austria.
