Rio Alizar is a left tributary of the Río Sajta in Bolivia , a tributary of the Río Ichilo , which flows into the Amazon via the Río Mamoré and the Rio Madeira .

course

The Rio Alizar flows in its entire length through the municipality Pojo in the province of Carrasco in the department of Cochabamba and flows into the Sajta at the border with the Entre Ríos . The river has its source on the northern slopes of Cerro Colorado in the Serranía de Khellu Loma in the Bolivian Voranden region . It flows for the first five kilometers in a northerly direction and then in its further course to the mouth in a northeasterly direction. The Río Alizar delimits the mountain range of Serranía de Iniricarsama to the southeast, which is limited to the northeast by the Río Sajta and to the southwest by the Río Osos .

The Río Alizar is part of the Carrasco National Park , which is only slightly developed through settlement or streets. The river, which is only 21 kilometers long, carries plenty of water, so that it flows into the Río Sajta in a broad river delta, but is not crossed by a single bridge in its entire course.

Tributaries

The only significant tributary is the Río Vado, which is about the same total length as the Río Alizar, and which joins the Río Alizar eight kilometers before its mouth from the south.
