Rădmănești (Hungarian: Radmanóc ) is a village in Timiș County , Banat , Romania . The village of Rădmăneşti is part of the Bara municipality .
Geographical location
Rădmănești is located in the northeast of Timiș County, near the border with Arad County , 32 kilometers from Lugoj , 50 kilometers from Făget and 79 kilometers from the district capital Timișoara .

history
The first documentary mention comes from 1400 when the manor was owned by Guți Orszagh. In 1440 the estate came into the possession of Mihai Orsyag. Later the land was donated by King Vladislav I to John Hunyadi . In 1607 the settlement came into the possession of Bishop Sava Brancović. The village was deserted during the Turkish occupation. In the records of the Italian historian Marsigli , the village was re-established. On the Josephine land survey of 1717, the place is registered with 22 houses.
A paleontological fossil site Rădmăneşti from the Tertiary was discovered in the area of the village . It was declared a nature reserve of national importance in 2000.
