RIO Megamix is an eight-minute mix of the most successful songs from the German dance project RIO. It was released on August 2, 2013 as a single track on iTunes. The mix was only offered as a download and was not released as a CD single. The guest musicians U-Jean and Nicco of the songs Turn This Club Around , Ready or Not , Animal and Party Shaker were not named as featuring artist. After a short time, the mix climbed high in the charts.

No chronological order was observed. The running time of most of the songs is around one minute. Some of the songs were cut to a minute and a half. Repetitions were often used. It should be noted in particular that the a cappella tracks of the tracks were not mixed into the instrumental versions according to the original. There are many more clear differences to the original to be heard. For example, short sound effects such as noise or drops were built into most of the titles. Ready or Not includes a new beat to better suit Summer Jam . In Like I Love You "Extended Version" was used, which begins to play while Turn This Club Around is still in the outro. The beginning of the original version of Shine On ends the megamix.
Music video
Parallel to the release on August 2, 2013, the music video for the Megamix was also released on the official YouTube channel of the music label Kontor Records . The official music videos of the individual titles were used and cut together accordingly. Some videos overlap with the songs that follow. The mouth movements also do not always match due to various effects or the like. After just a few days, the video was viewed over half a million times.
Chart placements
The megamix was already on all download charts a few hours after it was released. The song also entered the singles charts after a week. In Germany it reached number 19, and the mix also rose to number 19 in Austria.
