Turn This Club Around is the twelfth and most successful single from the German dance project RIO. It was released on September 30, 2011 as a single and as a download and was recorded with the US hip-hop and R&B artist U-Jean . It is the first single release and announcement for the album Turn This Club Around, which was released on December 2, 2011 . Turn This Club Around reached the top 10 in all German-speaking countries and reached number one in the Swiss charts . It is the first single to make it into the UK charts .
Music video
The official music video was uploaded to the official YouTube channel of the Kontor Records label on September 15, 2011 . The directors of the music video are George Cifteli and Dirk Hilger. It's 3:27 minutes long. In 2012 it was nominated for the Echo in the preliminary round for the category "Best Music Video". It begins with a record on which the name of the song can be read and with U-Jean , who claps his hands once. Then two women look over the railing of the floor above and wave to each other. U-Jean goes upstairs and arrives at a party. Tony T. can be seen several times , sitting blindfolded in front of a young woman who poses erotically in front of him and thinks he doesn't see anything. But he can see everything by peering under the blindfold. The video ends with U-Jean clapping his hands again. After over two years, it had around 10 million views on YouTube.
